Polyurethane is a flexible elastomer that combines the excellent mechanical properties of plastic with the elasticity of rubber. From a technical standpoint, polyurethane offers more advantages than rubber or other plastics.
The material features excellent wear resistance, high tear strength, and exceptional tensile and compressive strength. Even the harder variant (90 Shore) retains significant resilience. Additionally, it is resistant to mineral oils, petrol, lubricating greases, diluted acids, and alkalis. Our PU sheets can also be cut into strips, gaskets, or rings.
