Viton (FKM) rubber sheet
The Viton rubber sheet, also known as fluoroelastomer or FKM, is perfectly suited for the most demanding industrial applications because it resists hydrocarbons, acids, alkalis, and even oxidants. Its mechanical properties remain intact at temperatures up to 250°C. Viton® sheets are used in heavy industries such as oil refineries, steel mills, and chemical plants, as well as in industries with specific requirements like the food industry.
Applications of Viton (FKM) rubber sheeting
- Industrial applications
- Chemical industry applications / Laboratories
- Seals Gaskets
Properties of Viton (FKM) rubber sheeting
- Good mechanical properties, including low compression set and high tear and tensile strength
- High thermal resistance from -20°C to +250°C
- Ozone- and weather resistant
- The best elastomer in terms of chemical resistance (acids, alkali, oils, hydrocarbons, etc.).
